Red Hot Tips were lucky enough to work with and assist multiple landowners with mentor burns early this week on Flinders Island.
It had been several years in the planning, getting fire breaks in, SDI and fuel moistures in safe margins and Flinders Island wind to play the game. Great result and thank you to the community support to make this all happen.
These burns were not only important grassland regeneration but provide some great asset protection to the community of Whitemark. Burning was followed by an amazing and busy Show day – we now have another five properties to visit and support with the programs FREE bushfire management advice, support, and training.
